In Search of White Buffalo began as the brain child of Sam Leatherwood in a whiskey induced stupor some time during the year of 2007. However, the band didn't come to fruition until the summer of 2009 when Leatherwood joined forces with Billy Bob Gryta to compose the monumental five song EP entitled "A Cry For Help." The band has been on hiatus/detox since the EP's 2010 release.
